Secure parking provided, allowing guests to explore without worrying about their car. - Delicious food options available nearby. - Friendly and accommodating owners who go out of their way to make guests feel welcome. - Cute and cozy atmosphere, making guests feel at home.

I had a great stay at a lovely property close to Rincon de la Vieja National Park. The outdoor sitting area in the garden was a nice place to relax. The friendly host provided us with plates and cutlery for our room's kitchenette upon request, which was a great addition. The location was perfect, with easy access to La Leona Waterfall and the national park. I would highly recommend this place.

Great location for visiting nearby national park, friendly staff, and quiet atmosphere.
Rooms need better cleanliness, poor ventilation, and no air conditioning, resulting in hot and sticky conditions.

We appreciated the large shared refrigerator in the common area and the convenient minimart nearby. the hotel's location opposite the La Leona waterfall and close to the Rincon Vulcano park offered easy access to natural attractions.
The room lacked appeal, with a boring design, bad smell, and dirty walls. There were also issues with ants in the room, including the bed, which resulted in multiple bites.

This place was absolutely mind-blowing! The guy in charge saved our vacation by fixing our wheel and getting us fuel. The breakfast, made by the owner's parents, was delicious. The location was peaceful and beautiful, right near the entrance to Rincon de la Vieja. The rooms were clean and spacious, with comfy mattresses. The owners and their family were incredibly warm, friendly, and helpful. It was only a short drive to Rio Celeste, and there were plenty of facilities in Bijagua. Plus, the secure parking allowed us to leave our car while exploring. Don't forget to try the super yummy soda nearby! we had a fantastic time and highly recommend this incredible place!

We had a wonderful stay at a charming lodge nestled in a beautiful location. The family who runs the place were incredibly friendly and accommodating. They even stayed up late to check us in when we arrived. The homemade breakfast served on the patio was delicious and a great way to start the day. We also loved that the lodge was conveniently located near the departure point for tours to La Leona Waterfall and canyoning. Despite a lack of air conditioning, the fans provided were sufficient for our comfort. The shared backyard and games were a nice touch, creating a cozy and homey atmosphere. I highly recommend this lodge for a delightful and authentic Costa Rican experience.

I recently stayed at Tiquisia Lodge for 5 days and had a wonderful time. The owner was always available to answer any questions I had, and the property had a beautiful garden filled with flowers and birds. The outdoor area was a great place to relax and soak up the sun. It was also conveniently located near Rincón de la Vieja, and the owner even offered to drive me there for a small fee. The rooms were spacious and clean, with comfortable mattresses. Bijagua, the nearby town, had all the amenities I needed, including supermarkets, restaurants. I highly recommend staying at Tiquisia Lodge.
Strongly recommend this hotel.
